A glimpse into my inner journey…

My life has been a tapestry of colours - vivid, challenging and full of evolution. Someday, I’ll write a book about it, but for now, I’m here to share the journey that brought me to where I am today. Through my own experiences, I've witnessed life's trials and tribulations firsthand, and I understand the impact that stress and trauma can have on the mind and body. Over the years, I tried various therapy techniques, but whilst providing an initial reprieve, it always felt like putting a plaster on a wound – the moment stress heightened, everything would erupt to the surface again.

Less than 10 years ago, in my 40s, I introduced a practice into my daily routine; Vedic meditation. It was during an unexpected and stressful move from the UK to Australia, followed by a traumatic event within the family soon after arriving in Sydney, that I discovered a love for meditation. At the same time, I found myself entering the uncharted waters of peri-menopause - a profound yet often misunderstood chapter of a woman’s life that brings its own layers of emotional and physical change.

The shifts of menopause arrived at a time when life already felt overwhelming. I was juggling the demands of a new country, new challenges, and a profound sense of loss after leaving behind the familiar. Menopause added unpredictability to an already challenging time. Looking back, I can see how disconnected I had become from myself - adrift, struggling to find solid ground. My emotions felt unsettled, and my body no longer felt like home. The changes felt isolating at times, but they also taught me the importance of truly listening to my body and honouring my emotions. This became the turning point that allowed me to step into a space of acceptance and growth.

Meditation became my lifeline, allowing me to create a sense of calm in the chaos. Over time, it helped me reconnect with my body and emotions, to process what I was going through rather than suppress it. This practice became the foundation of my healing and personal growth, giving me the strength to navigate menopause with resilience and grace.

Meditation has been the most profound experience and turning point in my life. I am healthier, both physically and mentally, than I have ever been. I have arrived home – rekindled with my true self, and for the first time in my life, I’m alive with purpose.

It was through my own transformation - and the witnessing of others within the community, including my husband, who was so inspired by the changes in my well-being that he went from cynic to meditator himself - that I felt the undeniable pull to make a significant career change. After 25+ years in the corporate world, I re-trained as a meditation teacher to empower others to achieve greater health and wellness. I am now fully dedicated in supporting people like yourself to live happier, more fulfilled lives.

In addition to meditation, I committed to a path of growth, investing in continuous self-development over the years. Qualified in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), Reiki, and the teachings of yoga - specialising in Yin and Yoga for menopause, I have also delved deep into the ancient Vedic texts, The Vedas, which contain the oldest wisdom on the planet and remain so relevant for today’s modern world. Studying ancient teachings and embodying advanced spiritual practices have been revolutionary to my own evolution and awakening. None of this transformation happened overnight - it’s been a process of small, intentional steps that brought me back to myself. Now, I incorporate these ancient teachings into my mentoring, coaching and yoga practice, guiding others on their evolutionary spiritual path.

It is my divine calling to serve and support others on their path of illumination, and it’s been immensely humbling to witness my students and clients connecting deeply within - seeing their journeys unfold just as mine did over eight years ago. If you feel the gentle nudge to reconnect with yourself and embrace a life of harmony, reach out. Together, we can explore your path to transformation - I’d truly love to hear your story.
